Sassy Cidre is the disruptive face of traditional cider; they started out with the vision to revolutionise the perception of artisanal cider. To develop an innovative product, that also respects traditions, the founders have worked with a renowned cellar master to carefully create and rework recipes so that they are forward facing recipes. Originating in Normandy, at Château de Sassy, the tradition of cider and calvados-making has been preserved by Xavier’s family since 1852. Everything is locally sourced, from the carefully selected varieties of apples and pears, to the bottling. Free of additives, the aromas of the fruit are enhanced to exude a taste of freshness and to reveal a well-balanced flavor.
